Working Principle & Operation :
It works on the principle of buoyancy, consists of aluminum scale Board, which are mounted on the side of the tank with brackets. As the liquid rises in the tank, float in the tank also rise up, in turn moving the pointer on the scale. The float is connected to the pointer with wire rope which glides over almost frictionless nylon rollers, thereby ensuring a trouble free operation. Float & Board level Indicator-Mechanical level indicator are widely used for oil tanks, large Acid tanks where in there is not much of pressure i.e. non pressurized tanks based on simple rope and Float principle.
